  1. Another great podcast! Book two definitely started out with a BANG! I was super distressed about the lobstrosity incident. I keep hoping he’ll wake up and it’s all a dream, but after the podcast, I’m thinking that’s not going to happen. What a clear handicap for Roland. King sure made his own job harder with that turn. It made me think of Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead comics (obviously way after TDT). Rick losing his hand in the zombie apocalypse? When his main weapon has always been that Python? At least Roland is ambidextrous. Keep up the good works! Your discussion and impressions of the monster at the beginning, made me take a look at my own monster in my WIP. I’m going back to flesh him out a bit (pun intended). Keep up the good work. I’m enjoying our read-along.
